QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's baseball team will head down to Winston-Salem, N.C., to take on No. 13 Wake Forest in a three-game series, starting on Friday inside David F. Couch Ballpark at 4 p.m. ET.
Saturday's contest is also slated for 4 p.m. ET, while Sunday's start time is set for 1 p.m. ET. All three games will be streamed on ACC Network Extra on ESPN+, while live stats will be available on RedStormSports.com.
The Red Storm (0-3) is coming off a tough opening weekend where it dropped its series against Liberty at Liberty Baseball Stadium in Lynchburg, Va. Jayder Raifstanger led the Red Storm with four hits, including a triple, while hitting .364. The returning trio of Anthony Brienza, Luke Orbon and Jackson Tucker each tallied two hits apiece during the team's opening weekend.
10 players made their Red Storm debuts during St. John's season-opening series against Liberty last weekend. Six Johnnies made their first collegiate appearances while four transfers made their debuts in Red and White.
Freshman David Rodriguez made the first start of his career in the second game of the Johnnies' season-opening doubleheader last Friday. The righty only allowed one run on one hit while striking out three in five innings of work in his debut. Freshman infielder Will Cowan went 2-2 in his first two career at-bats, while Shaun McMillan registered the first hit and RBI of his career in game three of the weekend set against the Flames.
A trio of transfers; Jared Beebe, Sean Britt and Jon LeGrande all made solid contributions in the Red Storm's first three games of the season. Beebe started all three games last weekend between first base and designated hitter for the Johnnies, tallying a hit, an RBI and two walks, while LeGrande made three starts in left field. Britt racked up a career-high two base knocks in his first start at catcher.

Clark made his collegiate debut in the game, striking out the side and throwing 12 strikes on 18 pitches in his first career inning of relief.
St. John's and No. 13 Wake Forest will meet for the second time in program history and for the first time since the 1978 season. The Johnnies posted a 3-0 shutout in Winston-Salem, N.C., in the sole contest between the two teams. The Red Storm last faced an opponent from the ACC on Feb. 16, 2020, when it took down then-No. 19 Georgia Tech, 11-1, in Atlanta.
The Demon Deacons will welcome the Red Storm to Winston-Salem, N.C., with a 4-1 overall record, after being shut out by UNC Greensboro, 4-0, on Tuesday. Wake Forest was ranked No. 13 in Monday's D1Baseball Poll after going 4-0 against LIU and Marist across Opening Weekend.
