St. John’s Heads to Temple Invitational

The Red Storm will wrap up the regular season in Philadelphia this weekend
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's men's and women's fencing teams are set to wrap up regular-season competition at the Temple Invitational on Sunday in Philadelphia.
The Red Storm will start the invitational at 10 a.m. against Penn before battling Johns Hopkins. After the lunch break, the Johnnies will take on Penn State, Temple and Princeton in the final three rounds of the day.
Results from the competition will be posted to RedStormSports.com following its completion.
St. John's last competed at The Brian Palestis Memorial Invitational hosted by Wagner on Feb. 2. The men and the women each picked up a pair of wins in the event against Vassar and Wagner.
Adham Moataz led the way on the men's side, tallying eight wins in the men's saber. Antonina Lachman and Eva Galper each totaled seven triumphs in the women's foil and epee, respectively.
Following its time in the City of Brotherly Love, the Red Storm will look ahead to the NCAA Northeast Regional in Medford, Mass., on March 9.
