The Red Storm opened its outdoor season at the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Fla., last weekend, recording two event wins and multiple top-10 finishes.
Naiara Garcia-Moreno led the way, winning both the 800-meter and 1,500-meter races, with her 1,500m mark ranking among the top times in program history. Cassandra Lemus-Sodji placed second in the long jump, while Jamora Alves added a top-five finish in the shot put.
On the track, Kettia Ambrose turned in a top-10 performance in the 400 meters, and Fia Viklund placed inside the top eight in the triple jump.
