St. John’s Announces Changes to Intrasquad World Series

Program to host alumni reception on Saturday
QUEENS, N.Y. (Nov. 6, 2019) – The St. John's baseball team has announced a last-minute change to the schedule for its annual Intrasquad World Series.
Typically a three-day event, the IWS will now feature five games beginning this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Jack Kaiser Stadium.
The series will resume on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. before the teams play game three on Saturday at 11 a.m. Following an off-day on Sunday, the Red Storm will wrap the IWS on Monday and Tuesday. Monday's start time is to be determined, while Tuesday's series finale will get underway at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday's game will double as an alumni event for the program. All former Johnnies are invited back and are welcome to a reception beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Belson Stadium Suite directly next to Jack Kaiser Stadium. Alumni who plan on attending should reach out to Assistant Coach George Brown with questions or to RSVP (browng1@stjohns.edu).
