The Red Storm (8-12) used a season-high 15 hits to power past the Mavericks (7-14) at Clay Gould Ballpark. One of the 15 was Raifstanger's RBI single in the top of the eighth inning, serving as his 100th career hit as a Johnnie.
O'Leary had his best outing so far this season. The right hander pitched 8.0 innings, allowing just one run on five hits and struck out two to record his second win of the season. Victor Frederick came in the ninth inning to close out the game, registering two strikeouts.
